If you hate spam and are looking for a Free reliable way to tag it as it comes into your mailbox - then try this pop3 proxy written in PHP it has been especially written to work with the world trusted spam testing PERL software Spam Assassin.

You will then easily be able to set a mail client rule that deletes or quarantines spam.

If you are a more experienced PHP coder then this proxy offers an API that makes it easy for you to write custom functions to test incoming emails.

Notes

Can be run as a server wide spam tagging solution Not multi threading so only really suitable for a few users at this point in time

It would be very easy to put any custom function(s) to test emails (i.e. doesn't have to be spam assassin)
